The medical aesthetics business is ripe for rapid growth and disruption, and we are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to add to our high-performing team to do just that.

Our team has successfully launched a new and innovative technology platform, Allē, which serves millions of consumers, tens of thousands of aesthetics providers, and thousands of colleagues throughout the US. Since its launch in November 2020, Allē has delivered curated promotions, personalized experiences, and millions of consumers use it as part of their beauty journey. Now, we are looking for a Backend Software Engineer as we prepare to launch a new array of game-changing technologies on our successfully adopted platform.

As the Backend Software Engineer, you will report to the Software Engineering Manager and continuously collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to solve the most critical technical problems.

You Will

• Champion code quality, reusability, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with a team of engineers, architects, product managers, and designers to deliver elegant, resilient, and solid products
• Ownership over their code and remove any ambiguity during implementation by collaborating with their team
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Enjoy learning new processes, tools, and technologies.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• 3 years as a Software Engineer with a passion for front-end and the user experience
• Expert in CSS: Styled Components, Grid, Flexbox, Animations, and Cross-browser compatibility
• Strong Experience with React and NextJS (bonus) using TypeScript/JavaScript(ES6/7 )
• Understanding of state management frameworks and workflows
• A proponent of unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Bonus: React Native and or mobile experience with iOS and Android
• Bonus: Experience with accessibility and ADA compliance
• Bonus: Node.js experience
